Avi is a dynamic leader at the crossroads of business, arts, and film.  As a Media Banker at the Royal Bank of Canada, she manages a portfolio of commercial banking clients across TV, film, music, and sports, specializing in interim production financing for film and television projects. Her passion for arts and culture shines through her role as Director of Programming at the Canadian Multicultural Heritage Council, where she leads the programming at IFFSA Toronto, North America’s largest South Asian Film Festival.

In addition to her contributions to the arts, Avi serves on the Board of Sheridan College, an award-winning institution specializing in the fields of arts, business, community service, health, technology, and the skilled trades. Avi holds an MBA from the Ivey Business School and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin.

Avi is also passionate about South Asian music, enjoys spending time in nature, and loves being with her 15-year-old daughter and 8-year-old son.
