V Serve Canada’s mission is to encourage a state of physical, mental and social well-being to the diverse population residing in Ontario and Canada. Arts and Culture are one of the five pillars of the organization’s mandate, based on its vision that cultural connections bridges community engagement and ignites the spirit of pluralism. They host and promote performances of performing artists and invite communities to showcase their talents to promote culture and heritage through theatre, cinematic arts, music and heritage performances.

Project Name: Living with Wellness Arts Festival
Project Description:

This application is for the “Living with Wellness Arts Festival”, taking place June 26 to 28, 2025, at Celebration Square in Mississauga. Expanding from a two-day event to three days in 2025, the Living Wellness Arts Festival fosters inclusivity, creativity, and well-being by showcasing over 300 artists from 30 cultural organizations. Programming includes:

(1) Day 1 (June 26, 2025 at C-Banquets Mississauga) Community Launch: bringing together local leaders, artists and residents to launch the Festival:

(2) Day 2 (June 27, 2025 at Celebration Square) Opening Ceremony: featuring live music performances headlined by Poojan Kohli and AR Paisley, an Indigenous art exhibit, cultural dance and music showcases (local and international artists), community engagement activities, and food fusion experiences (25 food vendors onsite); and

(3) Day 3 (June 28, 2025 at Celebration Square) Full-Day Festival Celebration: over 300 artists across multiple stages, Bollywood Spectacle with special performance by Anuradha Paudwal, and Art of Square (a collaborative public art installation by 10 local artists).
